March Events 2005

I said in my last blog that I would try and post every month; so, here are the events at random for March 2005:
  • On March 1st Taylor had her IEP yearly conference. It was FABULOUS. It was the best ever. She is doing just excellent in her classes, behavior and contributions in class. It was SO wonderful to hear.
  • On March 8th, I had gall bladder surgery and was off for the next 3 weeks. Taylor was very supportive and helpful during this time.
  • In March the girls in her class attended a 'health awareness class". They were explained the reproductive system and what changes to expect. She is SO excited about having her period. (!!??!!?) Funny.
  • Taylor loves babies - she has helped many times taking care of Adrianne - Kris and Dustie's little baby.
  • On March 24 - we went to Iowa to visit Britton and Jason for the first time. Taylor just loved it there. She has many new cousins to play with and also new Grandma's.
  • Britton asked her to come and visit a week this summer. She is both excited and a little nervous about it.
  • Taylor loves her Awana Club at church on Wednesday nights - and she just whips through the memorizing of Bible verses.
  • Taylor is starting to show little by little more independence like taking baths or showers alone; cooking alone; using her crutches at school more; practicing her trumpet without being asked to do; and reading.
